S&T CZ now offering QlikView - a tool for rapid analysis of corporate data

System integrator S&T became a partner of QlikTech company and started offering QlikView - a tool for rapid analysis of corporate data. This innovative tool for Business Intelligence offers a new level of consolidation, analysis and evaluation of corporate data. Its patented in-memory associative technology can effectively use the system’s memory and instantly retrieve and process billions of data records. “Users can arbitrarily combine analysed data regardless their hierarchical structure. Especially this is the source of enormous QlikView power. Displaying of results is equally simple and flexible, just by a few mouse clicks,” said Pavel Jiruše, Business Intelligence Manager in S&T CZ.

QlikView fully supports mobility and gets even complex analyses under control directly from a mobile device without its connection to a company server. “The most popular mobile platforms like iPad, iPhone, Android or BlackBerry are supported. The user can work also in offline mode with a downloaded QlikView application as well as he would work online using a full connectivity,” explained Pavel Jiruše.

Flexible data analysis and visualisation

Of course the analysis results may be shared. For example sales results of different branches can be projected in Google Maps using QlikView. Each user is able to combine the data subjectively and create automatic ad-hoc associations no matter what the data structure is, an option which is often unavailable in many other Business Intelligence tools. “Well-arranged and easy data visualisation is embedded in the program title itself – Qlik & View in fact means click and see what you need. It makes no difference whether the data come from the sales area, marketing, human resources or finance,” said Jan Gábriš, S&T Business Solutions Manager.

Data processing is extremely fast

QlikView has a key advantage in already mentioned in-memory technology that essentially accelerates the data processing and mining. In-memory also allows a fast combination of outputs from any external sources, e.g. Excel, XML or enterprise systems like SAP, with no need storing the data in a hard disc. “Response time of any calculation is very short, even in the case of extra big data sets analysed by more users collaterally,” closed Pavel Jiruše, Business Intelligence Manager in S&T CZ company.
